Food and fences

We are all growing very quickly and every week our weight has been increasing. We are eating more grown up food now, although we still rely on mummy just a little bit to help us grow big and strong. As well as eating our own yummy puppy food, we also steal just a tiny bit from mummy's bowl when she's eating, which is very naughty of us.
We have discovered a new toy - the fence in our paddock! We have been chewing it and removing a few pieces of it so we can have a better look outside. Joani went one step further and tried to go on an adventure to the outside world, but she forgot how big she was and got stuck! She's fine, although she is a little embarrassed, and we haven't let her forget it! We now a have a new found respect for the fence.
Another new thing we have discovered is our voices! We spend hours practising our singing and have become very good at harmonising. Moley is especially good at her soprano part. We often hold late night concerts for our mummy, and at first she is very proud, although after about half an hour she does get a bit grumpy!
Speaking of grumpy, we haven't been able to run around outside as much this week because it has been very cold and rainy and mummy doesn't want us to catch cold. We were very grumpy because of this and decided to play on the bed instead. It was a bit of a state afterwards and needed a wash, but we think the weather wizard got the message - it was dry today and we could play! Yay!!

Food!!

We are all now doing very well and Colin is catching up with the rest of us. We are now starting to eat puppy food but still need our mummy too. We love to play with everything, especially our many toys, newspaper, each others ears/tails and our favouite......... peoples shoe laces!!!!!

Colins Back!!!

Colin has now has his tube, bandage and collar removed and is now back living and playing with us!! He is also making the most of being able to eat and run around again!
The rest of us have also taken our first steps outside in the paddock and have learnt how to jump off of the bed. We all love going out side, all that is except Brutus who thinks its too cold still and doesn't like playing outside!! Big wuss!!

Colin's feeling better

Colin has put on almost 150g in weight in the last two days and says he is feeling a lot better now, even well enough to chase auntie Amy around the floor. He is due to go back to the vets for a check up on saturday to see if his bandages around his mouth and his tube can be taken away.
The rest of us on the other hand are finding out how fun play fighting can be and how fun it is to chew things (especially people's fingers!!) now that our teeth are beginning to come through!!

Trying puppy food

Colin is still wearing his collar and still has his tube in. He comes down to visit us everyday still. The rest of us are now satarting to eat a smal ammount of puppy food, as well as our mums milk. Wwe are not sure if we like it yet, although moley eats more than the rest of us. Colin is looking forward to trying it as soon as he is better, he isn't growing as much as us now so is egar to catch up!!! And we are all sure he will!!!!!
